NoraRx connects you with BC-licensed nurse practitioners for online prescriptions. This is a telehealth service, not emergency care. You must be 19+ and a BC resident. By using NoraRx, you agree to these terms.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the NoraRx telehealth platform ("Service"), operated at norarx.com. By completing an intake, creating an account, or using any part of the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
To use NoraRx you must:
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who does not meet these requirements or who we reasonably believe is providing false information.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room immediately. For mental health crises, call the BC Crisis Line at 1-800-784-2433 (24/7).
NoraRx provides an asynchronous telehealth platform where licensed BC nurse practitioners review your clinical intake and, if appropriate, issue a prescription. This is not a substitute for in-person care. Your NP may determine that your situation requires in-person assessment and decline to issue a prescription.
NoraRx does not employ or contract nurse practitioners directly — NPs are independent regulated health professionals operating under the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM). The clinical relationship is between you and your assigned NP.
All clinical decisions — including whether to approve or decline a prescription — rest solely with your assigned nurse practitioner. NoraRx has no authority over and does not influence clinical decisions. A declined request is a clinical judgment, not a malfunction of the Service.
You agree that:
The consultation fee is charged at the time of intake submission via Stripe. This fee covers the clinical review by your NP, regardless of whether a prescription is issued. Fees are in Canadian dollars.
Promotional codes and discount offers are valid for a single use and cannot be combined unless explicitly stated.
Prescriptions issued through NoraRx are sent electronically to a BC pharmacy of your choice. NoraRx does not supply medications directly — you fill your prescription at a licensed BC pharmacy and pay the pharmacy directly for the medication.
Prescription coverage (e.g., BC PharmaCare or private insurance) depends on your plan and the specific medication. NoraRx makes no representations about coverage.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately at hello@norarx.com.
Each account represents one individual patient. You may not share accounts or create accounts on behalf of others without authorization.
You agree not to:
Violations may result in immediate account termination and, where appropriate, reporting to relevant authorities.
All content on norarx.com — including text, design, logos, and software — is owned by NoraRx or its licensors and is protected by Canadian copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.
Your intake data remains yours. By submitting it, you grant NoraRx a limited licence to use it as described in our Privacy Policy.
The Service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, NoraRx disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, or freedom from errors. We do not warrant that any particular prescription will be issued.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NoraRx's total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will not exceed the amount you paid for the intake in question.
NoraRx is not liable for the independent clinical decisions of nurse practitioners, for adverse medication effects arising from inaccurate information you provided, or for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Canadian law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms with a new effective date and, where appropriate, notify registered patients by email. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
You may close your account at any time by emailing hello@norarx.com. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if we are required to do so by law. Termination does not affect clinical record retention obligations described in our Privacy Policy.
